One of the hardest things that the people who put on shows and the bands have to deal with is that there are more good bands than there are gigs in this small town. We have what we think might be a cool solution. For our show on June 10th at the Legion, we were going to just have a little open rock jam and free get-together. That idea has expanded a little bit. Here is how it works. Any band who has not played an all ages show in PT in the last 30 days is welcome to have a slot on the Friday, June 10th Legion Hall show. We will have a full backline set up, so all you have to do is bring your sticks and axes. We will also have our regular PA setup and lights. Set times will be 25 minutes, and performance times will be determined on stage, as we will put all the bands names in a hat, and call them up as the night goes on to be fair to everyone. One of the biggest bands from Seattle, the Schoolyard Heroes have agreed to come kick this thing off right with a performance! To Sign up, all you have to do is send us an e-mail to creativemedia@cablespeed.com and tell us you want to play. Tell us your bands name, and phone number, and web site if any. Slots are only available to “Hard or heavy rock/punk bands.
