Some of the more memorable events that the folks at Shedboyz have helped produced over the years around Port Townsend include:

Maktub - Whaling Days 2002

Under a stellar Summer night sky, The Seattle band Maktub ripped it up at Whaling Days 2002.  This is one of the BEST funk bands in the world, sharing the stage with Lenny Kravitz and India Ire over the last year.

 The Further Halloween Bash 2002

The first time (I think) that two back to back hard rock shows were ever produced in Port Townsend, this one featured  co-promoters, Further (Waiting for the Sun), The Hollowpoints, V2 recording artist Alien Crime Syndicate, SMF, Thresh, Wizards for War featuring X Circle Of Fear Guitarist Charlie Burns, Innuendo, and the Ultra Violet Pyro Vixens.  We even did an acoustic show at Quimper Sound in the afternoon with ACS that was a lot of fun.

The outcome? over 500 people enjoyed two great and safe shows with all the bands kicking some serious butt. The only hitch?  ACS missed the last boat back to Seattle.

Otis Day & The Knights, Port Townsend Brewing Company - 2000

One heck of a night that saw more beer being drank than a small German village. Toga’s arriving in beat up limos....Way cool. Check out his site at www.otisdayandtheknights.com

Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show,  The Back Alley, Port Townsend - 1997

There was about 4 months (When we ran the place) that the Back Alley was safe, fun, and provided great rock and roll, hip hop and urban 5 nights a week. The crowning jewel of our time there was this show by Mr. “Cover of the Rolling Stone” himself.  Ya should of seen the faces on people when we had a line of 200 people 4 hours before the doors opened and a tour bus taking up much of the coveted parking spaces downtown Port Townsend.  A great day for local rock.

Unified Tribe, Silverdale’s Whaling Days - 2000

From Austin, TX, this 14 piece powerhouse of Funk followed a packed in store appearance at Quimper Sound on Water street with a great show at Whaling Days, a Silverdale Community Celebration and Seafair event.

The Port Townsend Rock Fest - 2004

A Brett Pemberton Produced even, this show was the first and only outdoor event of any large scale to feature regional “loud” rock bands. The neighbors let us make a ruckus downtown at memorial field, and the Park Department supported what was the first hard rock show in downtowns largest outdoor venue. A GREAT show.  One in 2005 was planned, but never happened.
